               SADBE is available as a cosmetic from square-immune.com as a 2% solution, the form used in clinical trials for cold sores.  It is also available from compounding pharmacies with a prescription from a health care provider.

 

VALTREX - Treatment

               Valtrex (valacyclovir) is available with a prescription from your health care provider.  It should be obtained before you have an outbreak because it should be taken immediately at the first symptom of an outbreak.

 

ABREVA - Treatment

               Abreva (docosanol) is available in pharmacies without a prescription.  It should be obtained before you have an outbreak because it should be taken immediately at the first symptom of an outbreak.

ZOVIRAX - Treatment

               Zovirax cream (acyclovir cream) is available with a prescription from your health care provider.  It should be obtained before you have an outbreak because it should be taken immediately at the first symptom of an outbreak.

 

LYSINE - Treatment

               Lysine is available as a nutritional supplement at many drug stores and online from many sources.  We would recommend if you take it that you take at least 3 grams per day.
